Jada didn't show enough improvement with two rounds of IV fluids, so they want to keep her hooked up over the night and see how she is in the morning..."wonder if she is saying to herself? "dang daddy wasn't kidding when he said I would come back to the hospital if I didn't drink my juice."

Hi there, I came across your blog through a friend of a friend. I ended up staying and reading the whole thing.
Jada is amazing!! She is so sweet!!
We have spent our fair share of time up at PCMC. In fact we have been residents there 5 different times since Easter.
Our little guy's name is Rhett, and he is 2 1/2. After he had his tonsils and adenoids out, we ended back up there twice till they realized that he couldn't swallow right anymore, and everything was just going straight down his trachea into his lungs. Which explained his weight loss, and being lethargic, and refusing to eat or drink anything.
They finally ended up putting an NG tube in him, and we just had a G-tube and Nissen done two weeks ago.
He has Down Syndrome, so him loosing the ability to swallow probably had something to do with his low muscle tone, either that or just the simple fact that Rhett writes his own rules, and never does anything the dr's say he will. Which is good, and bad!!!
Anyways, I just wanted to wish you guys good luck, and I will keep you in our prayers. I'll be checking in on sweet Jada soon!!

hey andrea I wish I could give Jada a hug so you do it for me and tell her we love her and hug your folks for me to and tell them the same our prayers are with you we will have to talk my boys wife lost one baby and is started with another and my daughter is pregnant to so we are hoping all will go well better this time keep in touch
